She was a dreamer.
He was a dream maker.
But falling in love was never part of the job.
Dream-Makers are paired with their true, soul-tied human on Earth and are responsible for constructing their most vivid dreams.
It's all professional, magical business until Jude falls heavily for his Dreamer.
Jude, 23, finally achieves his dream of becoming a Dream-Maker in Sun Dream City, the most prestigious role in a magical civilisation above the clouds. He is matched with Genevieve, a shy, overlooked 20-year-old girl living on the outskirts of Paris with a family that has never truly understood her.
Night after night, Jude creates extraordinary dreams that slowly bring the magic back into her life. But as Genevieve's world begins to change, so does his. Against all expectations, Jude falls deeply in love with her.
In Sun Dream City, revealing yourself to your Dreamer is strictly forbidden. A rule that has stood unbroken since the beginning of time.
Unable to resist, Jude steps into Genevieve's dreams himself, sweeping her into an unforgettable romance filled with impossible adventures, magical dates, music, laughter and wonder. As their connection deepens, Genevieve begins to believe that the man of her dreams might actually be real …
… until the world beyond their dreams threatens to tear them apart.
Handsome, cheeky and full of charm, Jude is the quintessential boy next door with a wicked sense of humor. He has no memory of his family or how he arrived in Sun Dream City.
But beneath his carefree exterior is a boy who has spent his life searching for a place to belong.
A quiet, shy girl from the banlieues of Paris, Genevieve has spent her life feeling invisible. Bullied by her two older sisters and overlooked by her family, she's learned to hide behind her hair and make herself small. But behind her bedroom door lies a different Genevieve, a girl with a vivid imagination who fills her sketchbooks with the extraordinary life she dreams of living.
Distinguished, outlandish, larger than life, the biggest dreamer of them all. Dramatic in all the right ways, fit as a fiddle, and he lives to work. Warm, charming, and impossible to say no to.
